Last week our proofreader at work corrected the use of the word "Xerox" in a contract. She reminded us that the word is "photocopy." It's amazing how many trademarked words have found their way into our everyday language. Common examples include Band-aid, FedEx, Kleenex, Lycra, Legos, and many others.
